Mom’s Boss as an In-Law??

Well I told you guys I would give you an update later and it’s later so here’s my intresting update. I have to hurry cuz my mom gets off at 4:30 and it’s already 4:18, and you already know I’m at work with her. Ok, so my topic probably appears pretty interesting to you and you might think somebody’s getting married…but no. Nobody’s getting married anytime soon in this family. But I made a new friend, which is a boy. My mom’s boss also brought her teenager to work today. She told me before that he went to my school, but we never met in the halls or knew each other. So we’ve been hanging out today, playing on the computer, and talking. Now we’re friends and will reconize each other in the halls so we can start talking more. The funny thing about the title of this post is that all of my mom’s friends and co-workers have joked all day about us getting together and my mom either getting a raise, or her boss becoming an in-law. Well, I gotta go but maybe I’ll write or type tomorrow if not, I will the next day…which is Friday. Bye! P.S.- He’s very nice.

From the Desk of my Mom’s Work

Hello world…or people reading this, which you are part of the world so, Hello World!!!(: I’m drinking coffee while I’m blogging today at 8:20 a.m.. This is early for me, because usually, when I’m not in school, I wake up around 10 or 11. Anyways, today I’m blogging from somewhere different other than my couch at home.   It’s at….My mom’s work!!!!!! It’s actually pretty fun, I feel like I’m a business woman. So I’ll be here from 8 to 4:30. Yay! I even am sitting at my own desk. Then my mom’s desk is beside mine, but facing forward…It’s hard to explain it,  but we’re in a cubicle..if youknow what that is. Anyways, I’ll give you an update later about how it’s going. So far, so good even though I’ve only been here for 45 minutes. Ok, well ttyl!

Break Time!

I’m so happy we’re out of school for winter break. It’s only for a week, but that’s good enough for me! The only thing that I’m not happy about today is… I have to clean my room.   But hopefully it won’t take me too long. Really all it is, is putting my clothes up, but I hate doing clothes. Clothes and dishes are the two things I just dread doing. I have to get over it if  I want to go to my friend’s house. My mom said, “You’re not going anywhere until this room is done.” Those were her exact words. My mom is really nice though, I’m not trying to make her sound mean. I would say that to my kid, too if their room was messy for 2-4 weeks.  Anyways, I guess I should get off here, just for awhile, so I can clean my room.  Well bye(:

@ a Loss of Words for Boxing

When it comes to boxing, I have a lot to say. When I’m boxing I get this feeling inside, it’s hard to explain it. Even though I just started boxing about 6 months ago, every time I’m training or sparring I feel like a champion already. It’s so much hard work, but it’s such a rush and so much fun. You know what they say…”No pain, No gain.”  Boxing really gets your adrenaline pumping. I love it, love it, love it! It’s not just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle. If your not confident in yourself, or if you’re scared to get hit, then you’re probably not going to win the fight. Like the famous boxer Muhammad Ali said, “I hated every minute of training, but don’t quit. Suffer now, and live the rest of your life as a champion.” That is one of my favorite quotes by him, when I’m boxing I think of that. And another one is, ” He who is not courageous enough to take risks will acomplish nothing in life.”  I want to be and will be a professional boxer, a champion, and an inspiration. I won’t quit; I love it too much. Just because I’m a girl, doesn’t mean i can’t be a great boxer.(:

#1 of things learned

Well, this may make me sound stupid, but I just never really thought about it before. A few nights ago my mom was making me some chili cheese fries, because I love them. And she was making the fries home-made (she’s a very good cook). Anyways, I was sitting there eating it and I was thinking how do you make home made fries? I asked her and she said “Are you serious?” Then she explained it to me and I felt sooo stupid. But at least now I can cook them for myself when she’s not here. Well I wish I could, but we have a gas stove and she thinks I’ll burn the house down. Hopefully some of you out there also didn’t know how to make fries. If you don’t then all you have to do is chop the potato in fry like form, well peel the potato first, unless you want the peeling on it…but i wouldn’t suggest it(: Anyway, then you cook them in oil (which is frying them, hence the name french “fries”) I’m not sure for how long though, if you know please comment so others know.
